Criminal Justice Reform

UNODC has been cooperating with the Nigerian Government since 2001 to implement projects aimed to strengthen judicial integrity and capacity in Nigeria. Between 2001 and 2003 and between 2006 and 2010, UNODC implemented two projects aimed to strenghten criminal justice reforms in Borno, Delta, Lagos, Anambra, Benue, Enugu, Kaduna, Katsina, Rivers, Bayelsa, and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). The current project, Support to the Justice Sector in Nigeria, is being implemented in nine states and the FCT.
